The cover is hardback the actual cloth cover is kind of a maroon with gold- titling published by the David McKay company in New York. The dust cover is intact it has some dirt and wear commensurate with its age and is slightly frayed along the edges and on the back there's a V-shaped tear out of it. The pages show some wear from use.
