Prospectus and invitation for submissions for Edward Bok's landmark "American Peace Award," which promised the phenomenal sum of $100,000 to the author of the best practicable plan for world peace. Judges included Judge Learned Hand, Eleanor Roosevelt, Henry L. Stimson, Melville Stone, and a number of other well known public figures. Among thousands of submissions, the prize was awarded in 1924 to Charles Herbert Levermore, former President of Adelphi College. Prospectus.
