Baughman (Images of the Urban Complex: The City, Contruction, Bridges, Transportation and the Factory); Lora S. Urbanelli (Social Statements: The Worker and Troubled Times); and Rebecca Zurrier (Images of the Artist). Also has an essay on "City Life" by Field, Debra N. Mancoff and Urbanelli. Each essay has a list of notes and lists works in the collection relative to that essay. Includes an artist bibliography. Quite nice. Published to accompany an exhibition held in New Haven, CT: Yale University Art Gallery, May 10 to Aug. 31, 1983.
