Pp. 334, 123 text-figures (mostly black-and-white photos of frogs), 73 distribution maps. Early Light green cloth, lettered in black on the spine, original printed pale green wrappers bound in place, thick patterned endpapers, lg 8vo. Annals of the Natal Museum, volume 17. From the research collection of Illinois State University herpetologist Lauren E. Brown with his name stamp on the title page and page edges. Light underlining on a few pages by Brown.
