Volume I contains 118 pages of text as well as plates, Volume II contains only plates. Plates are in sections under the following headings; Volume I: Woodwork (31 plates), Metalwork (13 plates), Appendix (7 plates). Volume II: Norman (7 plates), Demi Norman (5 plates), Early English (28), Decorated (39 plates), Perpendicular (28 plates). Fine covers, sound binding and clean replacement end-papers. Clean pages and plates but about 20 plates in Volume I are a little darkened in the lower margin, two plates have significant darkening in the lower margin and one of these also has a ragged lower edge. The illustrations themselves are not affected by the darkening. 2-volume set (complete). No dust jacket, as published. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: over 4 kg.
