Pages are visibly tanned with notable foxing and staining throughout. Heavier to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil mark to front free endpaper. Minor cracking to gutters. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surface. Noticeable dust staining to boards. Notable bleach stain to front board. Notable tanning to spine with visible crushing to spine ends. Small split to front joint. Book has forward lean.

Ex. library book rebound in library binding, only a couple of stamps, ffep removed. In overall good used condition with some minor signs of handling and storage - black cloth boards with black leather spine are rubbed to edges, corners a touch worn. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no inscriptions but a few neat annotations in pencil here and there; toning to page-ends, text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
