He subsequently discovered cubism and constructivism on his own...In 1935-36, Revesz enrolled at the Accademie Scandinave under the direction of Despiau...From 1941-1943, Revesz had three exhibitions, each resulting in a growing success. In 1943 he was arrested and deported to a concentration camp in the Ukraine. He escaped in 1944. Upon his return home, he was met with the news that his whole family had been exterminated by the Nazis...In 1959, Revesz emigrated with his wife and son to Israel..." Unpaginated. Series of excerpts from articles followed by an interview with the artist all printed in both Italian and English. Forty-seven black & white and five colour plates. Paperback with colour illustrated dustwrapper which is slightly rubbed to top edge and toned to its reverse. Scarce. G+.

Florenz, (o.J. / no year). 4°. (ca.60 S. / 60 p). Grüne Original Leinwand mit goldgprägter Deckelsignatur. Einband leicht berieben, untere Ecken etwas gestaucht, gut erhalten. Original cloth, slightly worn, good condition. Mit signierter handschriftlicher Widmung des 1912 in Transylvanien (Rumänien) geborenen Künstlers an Lutz Meunier, einigen Abbildungen im Text und 52 Abbildungen auf Tafeln, einige davon farbig, einigen Textbeiträgen (jeweils in italienischer und englischer Sprache) von Prof. Van den Brem, E. M. Noel, Ella Rind, G. Roth, D. Giladi, Dr. G. Marton u.a., einem Interview mit dem Künstler, geführt von M. Senesi und einer Liste der im Katalog abgebildeten Werke.
