About This Item
Canada: The Order of the O.M.I. Of St. Paul's Province, 1989. Book. Fine. Paperback. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed and generically inscribed by author upon title page. vii, [1], 264 pages. Black and white reproductions of photos. Andy Paull [1892-1959] was a Squamish leader, native rights activist, coach, and lawyer. The author got to know Mr. Paull during his tenure at St. Pauls Church on the Squamish Indian Reserve at North Vancouver in the early 1940s. "This book is Andy Paull as I knew him and understood his times. I make no apology. Perhaps this book fits into the category of an historical novel. It does however catch the spirit of the man. I knew him well." - iii. Clean, bright and unmarked with negligible wear. Appears unread. An exceptional copy of this significant remembrance..
