First appearance of Ginsberg's long anti-war poem "To The Angels," which he recited during the November 21, 1965 March Through Oakland, the first large-scale event under the auspices of Jerry Rubin's Vietnam Day Committee (VDC) and one of the first major peace protests of the Vietnam era. Uncommon, as are all early issues of this iconic underground newspaper.
