About This Item
Self Published, 1992. Academic dissertation on 20th Century Air Force co-operation between America and Britain. Included are letters pointing out that the author - a US Air Force Colonel - was considering an appeal against Cambridge University's decision to award him a D Litt rather than a Ph.D. There is also a list of influential people - including MPs - he hoped would support his appeal. He doesn't seem to have succeeded as he was awarded a D.Litt in 2003. Book has been professionally bound with royal-blue covers and gilt lettering to spine. 343pp plus loose notes and biography. Minor bumping to extremities and a few very small marks on rear cover, but overall a very good copy of a very scarce work. Heavy book (2.2kg) will require extrra postage. Ref:071172. Signed by Author. First Edition. Cloth. VG++/N/a. 21.5cmx30cm.
