Dark blue covers with blind decoration and gilt lettering and crest, corners are bumped and worn, edges are rubbed, handwritten reference number at base of spine, paper split over internal hinges but covers and text-block are securely attached, internal binding is sound except that frontis is detached, clean pages. No dust jacket, as published. Stamps for Halifax Antiquarian Society and "Withdrawn" stamp on front end-papers and prelims.
