Duham NC [sic]: Duke University Press, 1927. xii, 240p., illustrations on glazed inserted stock: a frontis portrait, a folded line map of the Mixton War (last attempt to be delivered from the Spanish) and a grim battlefield scene. First edition hardbound in textured dark green cloth boards and plain printed dust jacket. A wonderful copy, cloth very fresh and bright, dj has a sunned spine panel and some edgewear (but not price-clipped), overall excellent condition. Pastedown bears the neat ownership of Clifton B. Kroeber, himself a professor and son (?) of Theodora. Love the rendering of Duke's campus site, but university compositors wrote it ok on copyright page.
