This issue with articles on the first ascent of Mount Waddington, skiing development in Sun Valley, Idaho; development of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park; An ascent of G-15 in the Wind River Range of Wyoming; an ascent of Grand Teton; Arnold Guyot's explorations in the Great Smoky Mountains; a short section on rock climbing, including discussion of climbs in the Black Hills of North Dakota (photos), Southwest Ridge of the Grand Teton, an Old Cannon Route on Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire, etc. GOOD condition. Covers faded, with minor soiling, wrinkling and edgewear. Owner's signature in ink on the front cover. Extremities curled at the corners.
