Boston: Appalachian Mountain Club, 1890. 1st Edition . Original Wraps. Good/No Jacket. Original issue of Appalachia May 1890 issue, the journal of the Appalachian Mountain Club. This has been SIGNED by Louis F Cutter on the top of the front cover (strong signature). Cutter created the best early maps of the White Mountains, maps that were included in the earliest issues of the AMC White Mountain Guides. This issue of Appalachia has chipping along the overhanging edges of the wrappers, wrapper loss at spine ends up to 2cm deep, no owner marks or writing on pages other than Cutter's signature on the front cover. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
