A pamphlet by Doris Bry on how to conserve and care for photographs, issued by the Sotheby Parke Bernet auction house in the early days of the surge in interest in collecting photographs. Bry (1920-2014) was a leading authority on the works of Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keeffe. She wrote the exhibition catalogue for "Alfred Stieglitz" at the National Gallery of Art (1958) and authored the monograph, "Alfred Stieglitz: Photographer" at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (1965). She was not only interested in photography and but also in the challenges of reproducing it in ink and books she worked on were noted for their high level of visual quality.
