Slight rubbing and marking to covers and to endpapers; with bumping to corners, some foxing and marking to first and last few leaves of second volume, both volumes in good condition , green cloth, red and black illustration to upper boards with red borders and black decorative titles, black decorative titles with red detail to lower boards and spines.

This is an exceptionally maintained Book published in 1904. It is a Biography of William II, the Emperor of Germany. The Author, Marguerite Cunliffe-Owens, remained anonymous and did not include her name anywhere on this Book as she had done with several of her other Books. This Book has 282 pages and 16 illustrations. This Book also includes a signature by Emperor William dated 1903 under his photo in the frontispiece.

This Book, written by early 20th Century Author, Credo Harris, is one of the first published about world War I. This Book is in Very Good condition for one that is now over 100 years old and would be a great Book for your shelf. The illustrated front cover and the illustration in the frontispiece say a lot about the subject of the Book. There are 298 pages of reading about America's participation in World War I and this story of romance.
