J A Thompson's studies convey a sense of the drama of archaeology. He has been field worker as well as scholar, having worked at the archaeological site of Roman Jericho and Dibon while he was an honorary Fellow of the American Schools of Oriental Research I Jerusalem. Jacket chipped at head of spine and corners else a very good copy in like jacket.
