London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1915. Soft Cover. Near Fine. 8vo. 117 p.p. Paperback. Very small tear to rear cover. Some marks throughout front cover. Loss to bottom of spine. Hinges slightly loose. Interior clean, a near fine copy of book. Toynbee was a widely read and discussed scholar in the 1940s and 1950s. He was a British historian, philosopher of history, author of numerous books and research professor of international history at the University of London.
