Earlier owner's name signed on front free endpaper; trace of foxing to edges and endpapers. Very good condition. 'Four authors, each an authority on certain branches of African native art and crafts, teamed together to produce this book. "The Art of Africa" purports to provide a background of understanding to the ethnological, environmental and inspirational sources of indigenous African art. Against this background appears, in the form of drawings by the authors and by Madame Lucy Jaques Rosset, visual representation of some hundreds of the objets d'art themselves, supported by accurate and descriptive text.' .
