London: Collins, 1968. Later novel by the prolific Cumberland/East Anglian author, set in a village near Norwich. First edition. Green/red covers with gilt, 223pp. Covers have modest bumping to extrems but very little wear. Page edges a little dusty, otherwise book is internally very clean and tight. Price-clipped DJ has light wear to extrems with a couple of tiny nicks. Overall a very decent copy. Ref:104404. First Edition. Cloth. VG/VG-. Illus. by Jillian Willett (jacket). 14x20.5cm.
