VI, 112 pages, last page blank, foreword by Minister of State for Territories, suggested reading. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography, tables and the occasional map. Photographic front cover, showing an elder of an Aboriginal tribe and a sacred place, with black titles to the front panel and backstrip. Bumping, scuffing and rubbing to the book corners and to the head and to the heel of the backstrip. Creasing to the top right-hand corner of the front panel. Light rubbing to the other panels. Very light browning of the text block edges. This book was the Australian Governments', of 1967, statement of where the Aboriginal People welfare stood at that time, and where the government projected it would be in the future.
