. Engraved map, 10 3/4 x 14 inches on sheet 13 x 16 inches, folds as issued. Short tear with 1/4 inch entering the image at mid right edge (small bit of older tape on verso, not visible from front), strong crease across lower right corner, softer crease across upper right edge and lower left edge (scarcely visible), uniform light toning to the sheet, previous owner's blindstamp at lower right outside corner. Good condition. Detailed map published in the Universal Magazine, illustrating key points of the battle between English and French forces outside Quebec, resulting in British victory. Along the top of the sheet are two detail maps ("Part of the Upper River of St. Laurence" and "A View of the Action gained by the English near Quebec, Sept. 13 1759"). .
