A good, clean, sturdy hard cover first edition with minor shelf wear, but cloth torn at the top of the back strip from careless pulling, and back strip re-enforced by internal repair; interior very good, hinges and binding solid, paper moderately yellowed, with small 'made in England' stamp to fore-edge. With original period ads from author agents and services. Lacking dust jacket.
