Fine (minor signs of handling; pin holes and traces of previous mounting at centerfold). To Mr. Pickering: "I am greatly obliged by your valuable gift of the Life of John Pickering, your grandfather. In looking over it I see many points of interest, especially to my contemporaries, whose early years touch his later ones.
