102 Upper Street, Islington, 23 February 1840. 3 pp. 7 x 4 inches, in good condition, light traces of former mounting. The recipient has added the word Sent against the wants he has fulfilled. William Upcott (1779-1845), antiquary and autograph collector. I certainly am the possessor of a considerable number of Franks, both old and modern, a portion being bound up into Volumes, and have nearly completed the House of Peers of the present time, but the Commoners I have not cared for, tho I possess a goodly number ...
