Pall Mall, London: Wednesday, ND (Circa 1900). An original letter, handwritten and signed by author Henry James. Original single 8vo sheet, on James' Lamb House stationary. The letter is in fine condition, very nicely preserved. A SIGNED HANDWRITTEN LETTER, "Dearest Old Friend. Only a word, a bare bold (bald?) word, to say that I am coming in to see you at 5.30 p.m. (I have to return home tomorrow) to give you the whole affectionate welcome back of your devotissimo".
