Crisp, clean, totally unmarked and firmly bound in hardcover of padded leather with embossed titling on front and spine, illustration also printed onto front cover. Printed illustrated endpapers, all page edges speckled. Small rubs to cover corners, otherwise a fine copy. No jacket, as issued. Laid into the book are four color 5-1/2 x 7-1/2" lithographs, printed in color on foil, each affixed to stiff white paper backing, suitable for framing. (Overall dimension of each print is 8 x 10-7/8"). Subjects are the 1922 Wills Sainte-Claire Roadster; 1928 Franklin Airman; 1929 Packard Sport Phaeton; and the 1933 Duesenberg Model J Roadster. The evolution of the automobile, spanning over 200 years. Generously illustrated with black and white archival photos as well as 30 full color illustrations. 8-1/2 x 11-1/2"; 320 pages. Hard Cover. Near Fine.
