Rear hinge just starting.; Inscribed by the author on half-title page: "Arthur [?] Esq. MA [?] with the compliments & esteem of Francis Geo Heath". Stated "Fourth Edition". [6], xvi, [3], 20-352 pages + 32 pages advertisements + 12 colour plates (including frontis) + 4 b&w full page plates (within the pagination) + 14 b&w vignette illustrations + 12 initial-letter leaf engravings. Red cloth boards with leaf illustrations on spine and front board. Gilt lettering on spine and front board. Black endpapers. Page dimensions: 194 135mm. The preliminaries include a 7 page "Advertisement to the New Edition" with numerous quotations from press reviews.; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; Signed by Author .
