One of the earliest Crane-Evans collaborations, originally published in London, 1877. (Together with : The baby's bouquet.) No Date. Presumed First Edition. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Internally in wonderful condition with no marks or browning. Engraved and printed in colours by Edmund Evans. Full of wonderful illustrations in addition to the sheet music to a host of children's favourite nursery rhymes. 10 Full page colour illustrations and intricate border designs that are truly beautiful. Walter Crane was an artist, designer, socialist, interior decorator and leading member of the Arts & Craft movement. edge wear. Illustrated in colour with plates and decorative bordering to pages. Scarce. Very Rare to See Color Illustrations this early.
