Yearling Book. Very Good. 1984. Softcover. Both covers, next to the spine, are creased from reading. The spine is not creased from reading. The pages are clean, no tears or soiling. The pages and binding are tight. There is a previous owner's name written on the inside front cover. The covers and the edges of the covers and spine are slightly scuffed. There is a piece of clear tape on the front cover on top of the young girl. ; The Angel Series; Vol. 1; Drawings; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 107 pages; A little brother can be a handful! It's summer vacation, but ten-year-old Angel (Caroline) O'Leary can't find much to smile about. While her mother's away at work, Angel's in charge of her little brother, Rags (Theodore) , and it's no easy job. No matter how hard Angel tries to stay out of trouble with Rags, something always seems to go wrong. If Rags isn't peeling letters off the side of a parked oil truck, he's stranded on top of the neighbor's roof -- clinging to the TV antenna. Though Angel likes watching Rags at home, she knows there's more to life than baby-sitting. Is it time to take those first few steps beyond her own back yard? . Although Angel loves her little brother Rags dearly, the constant responsibility of caring for him weighs heavily on her young shoulders.
