About This Item

Toronto: Longman's Canada Ltd, 1962. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. SIGNED by author to title page. Full orange buckram. 198 pp. With twelve pages of B&W photos of the Festival's ninth season. Rubbing to spine ends and corners, small spot of wear to tail edge of rear board, slight sunning to spine. Dust jacket chipped at spine foot, a few short tears, age toning to edges of flaps. Some light bumping to edges and damp staining to front cover. From the enviable vantage point of staff writer for two seasons, Joan Ganong has written this graphic, humorous, and warmly enthusastic account of how the beauty and magic of Stratford's productions are conjured up.
