When an old fox takes over Borun's living quarters, beneath the roots of a large tree, Borun is forced to travel far from his birth place. Clarkson tells the story of Borun's adventures, some are amusing, but all revealing the life of Badgers some are amusing and some are funny or frightening. A book for older children and young people with ecological overtones which describes part of English wild life in slightly whimsical and anthropomorphic but at times grimly realistic terms. One of those books children remember all their lives (the deaths of the father and mother badgers) and that teach them to be kind to animals. Will combine shipping on more than one book. .
