Folio, illustrated catalogue of 100pp., mostly printed on rectos only, each with multiple images, with corresponding 100pp. fold-out price-list bound in at end; one plate repaired without loss, another with one of eleven illustrations exised; edges of price-list a little crumpled, but generally well preserved in original cloth-backed printed boards, neatly re-backed. Comprises 'photographs of the actual Badges and Buttons worn by each Regiment; in most cases the Cap Badge... but some[times].. the Collar or other Badge... to show the various sizes worn throughout the Army. Some of these Illustrations were photographed during the Diamond Jubilee Year of Queen Victoria's reign... in this edition we have not altered the cypher V.R. and Crown, so that they form a permanent record of designs of Buttons and Badges of the British Army as worn at the accession of His Majesty King Edward VII.'
