The Arthur Westbrook Company, Cleveland, 1910-01-01. Paperback. Acceptable. The Arthur Westbrook Company, Cleveland Ohio, #11 in the Great American Detective Series of dime novels. [Published date: No date listed, probably sometime between 1910 -1930. According to J. Randolph Cox's The Dime Novel Companion: A Source Book, there were three different editions of this series issued. This would be the second edition because it lists 50 titles on the back cover. In acceptable to poor condition. Paper covers with color illustration on front. 1" slit to covers along bottom fold along front edge of spine. Light chipping and nicking to edges of covers. Moderate to heavy creasing, scuffing and aging to covers as well. with some of the color scuffed off. Spine is creased but binding is still solid, (stapled and glued) with some tearing to the rear cover near the staples. Pages are aged with moderate to heavy damp staining along edges. NOT Ex-Library. No remainder marks. A delicate reading copy only.
