New York: Printed for Belle Skinner By the Scribner Press, 1921 Printed December 1921, and limited to 225 copies, with a penciled number 31 on the front free endpaper. [8], 83pp, printed on laid paper, bound in half cloth with gilt decorated paper over boards [gilt still bright], with binding and hinges tight. The top edges are gilt, with deckled page edges, slight darkening to endpapers. The slipcase is covered in marbled paper, showing light edge wear. Written by the musicologist and father of Pete Seeger. The Chateau de Hattonchatel is a medieval castle in France, that was destroyed in WWI. It was entirely reconstructed in 1923-1928 by Henri Jacquelin, being financed by the American benefactor Belle Skinner.
