A presentation in poetical form of some of the main incidents of Irish history, arranged in chronological order. Green cloth binding with gilt titles on front cover and spine. Gilt faded, considerable spotting of cover, edge wear, spine darkened with scuffs, back cover scuffed, corners and spine ends bumped, hinges a little weak, gift inscription dated 1907 on front fixed end paper, former owner name "Lottie Magill" on front free end paper, webbing showing between title page and list of ballads, binding shaken but all pages attached, interior pages lightly tanned, a little spotting of end papers.
