About This Item

London: Printed for Longman, Orme, Brown, Green, and Longmans, 1839. Pamphlet. 48p., 8.5x5.2 inch self-wraps; covers have a bit of dust-soil, back cover a square pressure mark, faintest foxing generally and an old ownership autograph in sepia nib. Spine remains well-adhered despite a short split between signatures at the tail. A very good copy. Against the system of voting by secret ballot.
