"Published for the Trade", London, undated. Appears to be an early, 1870's or '80's edition. Hardcover. 8vo. 293 pages. Deckled edges. Black lettering on white paper label on spine, over brown boards. Corners and edges worn, and paper label on spine is unreadably worn. Interior includes a copy of the original French edition's title page, and a new English one, as well. Covers starting to tear loose of the text block. Miscellaneous wear and tear. Illustrated throughout with little b&w drawings by Gustave Dore.
