He spent two years on the Thai-Burma railway and in the final year of the war was shipped off to Japan. He never reached there as the carrier ship was sunk, but he survived in the sea until rescued by US forces. 192 pages. Weight 0.6kg. Post free within Malaysia The spine is worn away in a couple of places, but the rest of the cover has just a few marks. There's a gift dedication covering the whole of one front end paper. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is mild tanning throughout.
