D. Verschoyle, 1954. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1954. First Edition. 183 pages. No dust jacket. Pink cloth, with fading and discolouration. Contains black and white photographic plates. Contains black and white photographic plates. Colour illustrated plate stuck to front pastedown. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Light thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Heavy splits to joints. Foxing and dark rubbing to boards. Mild water staining overall. Notable sunning to spine and edges.
