Based on the 1928 part talkie film, adapted by Nicholson from his 1927 Broadway play of the same name, directed by George Fitzmaurice, and starring Dorothy Mackail, Milton Sills, Betty Compson and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. Compson was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her performance.
Very Good plus in a Very Good dust jacket. Bookplate on the front pastedown. Boards lightly soiled, bump to the upper rear corner. Jacket lightly soiled, with a chip to the lower front panel, and light edgewear.
