The character of Detective Chief Inspector Barlow was created for the original Z Cars series by Tony Kennedy Martin. This novel is published by arrangement with him and the BBC and Barlow's other creator, Stratford Johns, who portrayed Detective Chief Inspector Barlow on BBC for many years. 152 pages. 8.5 x 5.75 inches. St. Martin's Press, New York, 1974.
