UK: Walter Scott, 1900. New Edition . Full-Leather. Very Good ++. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. New Edition Circa1900. Undated. Illustrated frontis plate. Wonderful full leather calf bound book. Raised bands, internal edge embossing and hand marbled endpapers. Wonderful Edwardian quality binding. Probably a Bumpus binding but not confirmed. Book is very good++ and bright. Spine a little age toned. Lovely strong hinges with no rubbing or cracking. Contents are good. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 12441 ##014399
Synopsis
Barnaby Rudge: A Tale of the Riots of Eighty, commonly known as Barnaby Rudge , is an historical novel by the author Charles Dickens. Barnaby Rudge was one of two novels that Dickens published in his short-lived weekly serial Master Humphrey's Clock, which lasted from 1840 to 1841, when the book was published. It was Dickens' first attempt at an historical novel, his only other being A Tale of Two Cities.
