Toronto, ON, Canada: Longmans, Green and Co., 1928. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good Plus. No DJ as Issued. Light gray boards with blue letter on the front board and on the spine. The spine shows minute shelf wear. FIRST EDITION. The corners are just starting to fray. The previous owner's name is on the front free page. "This book, while a complete and self-contained novel, is the last of the trilogy - "Beau Geste"; Beau Sabreur"; and "Beau Ideal". There is light foxing on pages eight and nine, which does not interfere with the text. "The Song of the Legion" is included at the end of the book. This was the "March Theme of the Paramount Picture Beau Geste." 348 pages plus four pages of the song. No DJ as issued.
