About This Item

Heinemann, London, 1976. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. 456 pages, the dust jacket has faded on the spine, so that the title is almost invisible and there are 2 short years at the top right of the front panel. The book itself is internally clean, and without annotations. We enter the life and mind of David Lurie to see how a gentle frail little boy becomes a young man with the courage to pursue his vision of the truth at the risk of all that is most dear to him: family love, friendship, and his passionate identity with centuries of Jewish tradition Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dust Jacket price-clipped. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Category: Literature & Literary; ISBN: 0434596035. ISBN/EAN: 9780434596034.
