First Printing. From the recently auctioned collection of Donald S. Olson--with the auction tag laid in. A handsome and fine copy in a very good dustjacket. This copy is signed by the author without inscription to the title page. Light overall uniform age toning--a little dustiness to the page edges--otherwise a tight and clean copy--Unmarked interior--strong spine and hinges. The dustjacket is price clipped and has moderate rubbing to the front and back panels with modest age toning to the spine--a little darkened. It is getting harder to find a first print signed copy--thus a very collectable copy. One of the top novels of the last 50 years.
