Tula: Tulskoe Knizhnoe Izdatelstvo, 1961. Hardcover. Good. Second Russian edition; 8vo; pp. [2], 3-174, [2]; original pictorial boards in bright orange and yellow, depicting Bambi in mid-leap; cloth spine; b & W illustrations; relatively minor rubbing and fading to boards and edges, mostly to margins; slight uniform age-toning to text, else pages clean; good or better condition. Subtitled: "Lesnaia Skazka (Easy Reading)." Bambi was first published in Austria in 1923. Since then, the story of the little fawn has been translated into many languages and adapted into numerous films and theatrical productions.
