Publisher's gray cloth with paper spine and upper board labels, reprinted in the year of publication, octavo, pp. xli, [xlii], 1-60. Four plates. This copy POOR. Previous owner name on front paste-down. Rubbed through at spine ends and board tips, with some loss of the cloth. A 3 inch slit in the cloth on rear panel mid-spine. Previous owner has underlined passages of interest in black; foxing; old tide lines on upper page corners.
