Leather spine label, lettered in gold gilt. XLib. Very clean example. Wihelm Bersch (d. 1882) translated this text on Original Sin from the English work: 'An Appeal to Matter of Fact and Common Sense.' Jacob Albright [1759-1808] was the founder of Albright's People (Die Albrechtsleute) which was officially named the Evangelical Association (Evangelische Gemeinschaft) in 1816. This church underwent various mergers and schisms and today is a part of the United Methodist Church. In the early 19th century they had an active publishing program, and also operated a book bindery in New Berlin, PA. JUN_GER1. Hardcover. Very Good.
