In this last story of the series, Beverly goes to Montana to find and rescue Michael, who has been accused of stealing maps leading to a gold mine. Many twists and turns, but of course Beverly succeeds and eventually heads back to New York City. Christmas inscription dated 1955 and a creased cover. Copyright by Grosset and Dunlap in 1955. Lists to itself on back cover. 182 pp..
